Gina joined Equis Law Group, LLC as a principal shortly after the firm's inception. She specializes in the acquisition, sale and financing of shopping centers, apartment complexes, and office buildings. Gina has over twenty-five years of experience in project development and redevelopment, property operations, negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, reciprocal easement agreements, and commercial leases. Gina is also responsible for maintaining and monitoring associations for various shopping centers and industrial warehouse and business parks.
Prior to joining Equis, Gina was Managing Attorney at Charles J. Benvenuto, P.C. where she was responsible for the acquisition, sale and financing of large scale commercial projects. Prior to her time at Charles J. Benvenuto, P.C., Gina was an associate at Robert L. Sklodowski & Associates in Franklin Park, Illinois, responsible for residential and commercial real estate matters and litigating plaintiff personal injury cases as well as class action lawsuits. Gina successfully represented clients in numerous jury and bench trials as well as arbitration hearings.
Currently, Gina is serving her third term as Commissioner for the DuPage Airport Authority and is the acting Vice Chairman for the board. She began her service for the Authority in 2004.
Gina is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA). She also holds an Illinois real estate broker’s license and is a well-respected speaker on residential real estate matters.
